Download and Install Instructions
- Download MarcaDS_V40e.zip
- Extract MarcaDS.nds to the root of your card (DLDI patch if your card needs it)
- Create a folder called 'mame' in the root of your card
- Copy the .zip (ensure they use no compression) files containing the mame files to your mame folder.
Basic Usage
- When MarcaDS starts:
- MarcaDS should report "FAT SYSTEM FOUND !" and "ALL IS OK...".
- Press any button or touch the screen to begin.
- Use Up/Down to select LOAD GAME, press A.
- Use Up/Down to select your game directory (by default, this should be mame in your root directory).
(E.g: If your storage device is G: on your PC, your mame directory is G:\mame).
- A to open the directory.
- Use Up/Down to select your game.
- A again to choose your game.
- A again to select EXECUTE ACTUAL GAME.
- Insert DS Motion and/or press any key to start the game.
- Controls (both Player 1 and 2) :
Direction pad and DS Motion : The joystick.
SELECT : Inserts coins.
A : Fire.
B : Fire.
R : Fire.
START : Starts the game.
L and R (Together): Pauses the game and also allows you to return to MarcaDS menu.
Common Problems and Known Issues
- Game does not run.
- Ensure the game is in the below Compatibility List.
(Games other than those will not show up in the menu and will not run.)
- Also ensure the .zip file does not use compression.
(Set WinRAR to Store, WinZip to No Compression.)
- No sound in game.
- Ensure the Compatibility List says there is sound in that title.
(If not, game will still work, just soundless.)
- Where is the Compatibility List? All I see is foreign words!
Jeux émulés is the Compatibility List. It means Emulated Games in French.
If the page bothers you, Google Translate and the Extension for Google Chrome will allow you to translate the whole page.
(The Compatibility List however, is in English.)
- EFS failed: You cannot rename MarcaDS.nds! And put it in root.
